Activate a server Scrooge Ad
A Scrooge Ad server is activated when you purchase a "banner space" or any prepaid impression refill for your banners. To create a banner or multiple banners (ads), you must purchase one or more banner spaces.
Can I activate multiple Ad servers
It is also possible to activate multiple Ad servers and to do so it is not mandatory to be registered on the social network scrooge.social. However, for activities that require specific authorizations, licenses, permits, in the applicable jurisdiction to be carried out, it is necessary to create a scrooge.social account and enter all the information necessary for the Scrooge Ad Team to carry out the necessary checks.
An account on scrooge.social is required
It is not mandatory to have an account on scrooge.social to activate an Ad server, however it is recommended for better management of your information.
Managing your campaign
Once you have activated your server Ad and created your ad, you don’t have to worry about anything else, the Scrooge Ad Team will manage your Ads campaign to maximize the CTR conversion ratio. The team will use the information you have provided and the information contained in the ad to obtain the best results.
How do I provide the information to obtain a campaign with the maximum CTR
When you purchase a “banner space” you will provide some information that will help the Scrooge Ad team maximize the CTR ratio (the number of impressions that produce actual clicks). For each banner space you can provide different information, for example, to advertise different products or services. Although this information can be changed, it is preferable to be careful and not change it in the future to avoid reducing the performance of your campaigns. For each banner space, optimized delivery rules are created by the Scrooge Ad team. In the statistics section of the your Scrooge Ad server you can access separate statistics for each activated banner space.
When I provide information for the requirements requested by Scrooge Ad
When you activate a banner space or any prepaid package for the first time, you also activate the social scrooge business subscription (in case it is not already active or you have not activated the premium subscription that includes all the features of the business subscription in addition to the additional features provided for the premium membership). By activating a Scrooge Ad server, you will add an information tab to your scrooge.social profile where you can provide any information relating to licenses, permits or certifications, if required for your business. This information will be partially visible and partially private, in the same tab you can provide documents proving any permits, licenses or certifications that are eventually required for your business (visible only to the Scrooge Ad team). If your business does not require authorizations, licenses, or permits, you may not even want to activate a scrooge.social account, although this is recommended for better management of your information.

When will Scrooge Ad be operational
The Social Scrooge protocol is under development, so we expect the Scrooge Ad service to become operational and accessible to everyone in 2025.
