Social application sApp What is a sApp: the Social Scrooge protocol implements the possibility of installing social applications in your social spaces, created on scrooge.social. These are application modules that play the role of real social applications within their own social spaces that any user can install and use. Hence the name social Application and therefore the acronym sApp. What functions are foreseen by the sApps: it is difficult to predict all the functions that will be implemented with the sApps, however we can refer to the applications already developed and ready for use such as Questions and Answers, Files, Linklist, Tasks, External Calendar, Share content, Custom pages, Wiki, Calendar, Polls, Gallery, many others are coming and others in development. sApps require additional costs: given that the main support of the Social Scrooge protocol is the Scrooge WTF token ($SCROOGE), for the majority of sApps there are no additional costs, therefore remaining free such as the activation of accounts and the creation of social spaces, however, we foresee the addition of sApps which provide a sustainable additional cost in both fiat and crypto such as space shopping, account verification and others that we will announce in the dedicated social space (scrooge-premium). How we can inform ourselves about the developments of the protocol and the sApps: by following our social spaces on scrooge but also on other social networks we will release related information. There are privileges for holders of the $SCROOGE token in the social network: for the moment there is no difference in privilege between holders of the Scrooge WTF token and non-holders beyond the possibility of making payments in the protocol with the same $SCROOGE token.
Brief guide The Social Scrooge protocol, social network (community), supports public conversation for a better personal and business socialization experience. Therefore it has public spaces (Social space), which means that the contents published on Scrooge are mainly accessible from the community's public spaces. All users can create their own public spaces via the top menu, they can change the access privileges compared to the default privileges that the protocol assigns to each new space.   The posts, or more generally, the content published in their spaces will also be publicly visible in the community dashboard (the Home), while the posts (or content, more generally) will be visible for everyone in the user's profile, in the dashboard (home) will be visible only to the author. The user can decide whether to make the published posts private, in which case they will be visible only to friends, in the profile and only to spaces members, in their own spaces. Even in the dashboard (home) they will only be visible to member spaces or friends. It is possible to create spaces in which the publication of the content is not reserved only for the author but for the members and, or for everyone. You can do this by changing the privileges from the spaces settings menu (security option). This means that you can create your own workspaces by limiting access to all functions (including content visibility) only to members who at their request (or your invitation) accept into the Social workspace. With the same criterion you can create spaces for public conversation limited to a specific group of people or you can make everything public for everyone. Users, authors of multiple spaces, can also move content between spaces in a simple and intuitive way.   Publishing a post is extremely simple wherever you are (dashboard, home, spaces, profile) just click in the white space on "What's on your mind?" and start producing the content. To upload large-sized multimedia files use the upload command in the command menu above the input field, to upload multiple photos to the post or to insert small-sized photos use the command menu below the input field. You can also simply copy the image from the source and paste it into place (for example, using Ctrl+V, Ctrl+C or even ⌘ + C, ⌘ + V for Mac). It is possible to create files with Office (presentations, excel, word), attach multimedia messages (audio, video, photo, ...), create and manage your own links in the section dedicated to the link list of your spaces, create and manage tasks, activities, upload and share any type of file, including compressed archives (zip folders) in accordance with the specifications that can be consulted by clicking here "technical specifications".  It is possible to insert external web pages into your spaces, viewable via iframe or create your own web pages via templates or via MarkDown. By installing the "Custom Pages" application, the relevant item will appear in the space settings menu. For this specific function it is absolutely forbidden to leave the scroll bars visible in the iframe or web page open in your space. The scroller function can remain enabled or disabled at the author's discretion, the scroll bars must be set to not visible. For further information, read the instructions given in the "Technical specifications" subparagraph of the "Abstract" paragraph, "Scrooge.social" section, or simply by clicking here. In extreme circumstances, if unavoidable, it is acceptable to insert only the horizontal scroll bar, within the limit of one iframe or web page displayed in your social space. Through this function (insertion of iFrame content and web pages) it is possible to apply web3 integration in your social spaces, inserting dApps and any content in accordance with our behavioral rules. This same application sApp allows you to set a personalized web page as the home of your social space, for example, by inserting it into the social space via iframe and setting it as home via the "setting, advanced" item in the space settings menu . With this system you can also create a home page for non-members and a home page for members.   You can insert events into the calendar, set reminders, organize events by sections, load events from external calendars and much more, in fact, all profiles include, among the numerous social Apps (sApp modules) available in the web spaces, the "Web Feed" sApp module, which allows the retrieval and creation of automatic posts from RSS or Atom feed links. It is also possible to retrieve information directly from the websites that provide your favorite content (functionality operational with most enabled sites). The protocol Social Scroge has implemented and will develop in the future to enrich the experience of using scrooge.social, increase the experience of the public conversation. The innovation of the Scrooge social network is the blockchain interaction that it offers to users, both in terms of use and web3 applications, and in terms of integration of their applications in web3 within their social spaces, using the "Custom pages" application (module). Detects the ability to search for users via crypto wallet address of any blockchain. All users can also enter their crypto wallet addresses to be found via wallet. Note: The social application, sApp OnlyOffice (Office), is reserved for the premium group (premium subscription) which includes the blue check mark and other additional functions. The premium account will be purchasable by all users of the scrooge.social social network via the Scrooge WTF token ($SCROOGE) or Fiat (debit card). File uploads are processed by antivirus scans.
What is the best way to use scrooge? The Scrooge social network (scrooge.social) is compatible with all browser types, including mobile ones, however we strongly recommend installing our app for desktop use. The apps of the Social Scrooge protocol are automatically detected by the browser, as they are apps with a high level of IT security, simply connect to the scrooge.social site. Here is an example:   Although it can be used on mobile devices (iPhone) via beowser, Social Scrooge strongly recommends installing the mobile App on your iPhone to improve the experience of public communication with scrooge.social (Social scrooge social token protocol). The Social Scrooge protocol apps do not have to be downloaded from an app store, just open the scrooge.social website, then open the configuration menu of your browser (for example on Chrome, by clicking on the three vertical dots at the top right) and click on "add to home screen", a small pop up window will automatically appear (usually at the bottom) asking you whether to install the Scrooge mobile App or just create a shortcut on the iPhone desktop (link for browser). We strongly recommend installing the App rather than creating a shortcut on your desktop to enhance the experience of using the Scrooge social network.     The Social Scrooge protocol apps not only improve the experience of using the scrooge social network, they are extremely secure and designed for low computational demand, so as to be almost transparent compared to the ordinary workload of your devices. Uncel Scrooge Protocol apps are compatible with most operating systems, including Linux, Unbutu, Android, Mac OS as well as Windows, in all versions. In iOS systems, the Social Scrooge protocol is optimized to work in the browser without the need to install apps and without, for this reason, giving up a better user experience and a high level of cyber security. Team Social Scrooge recommends using the Chrome browser, of Google, although compatibility is guaranteed with all existing updated browsers.   Get started now, Social scrooge is waiting for you on scrooge.social Install Social Scrooge Protocol Apps, the sooner you do it, the better your Social Scrooge Protocol experience will be.
