The social network (community) scrooge.social allows its to share most of the known files, adopts automatic antivirus scanning systems, however it is always advisable to be very careful before downloading a file.

Currently the maximum file size to upload is 30 MB, we are working to increase it in the future.

Some restrictions are applied on the minimum dimensions of the avatar images and on the space or profile bars. If the upload is not successful it is because the dimensions are not suitable.

We recommend sizes no larger than 600x600 pixels for avatars and 1300x200 pixels for bars (although, in reality, the system will adapt the image from any format).

The Social Scrooge protocol is perfectly integrated with OnlyOffice to improve the experience of using scrooge.social, in fact it is possible

Create and edit text documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

Share documents with other users.

Real-time document co-editing: Use two co-editing modes (fast and rigorous), track changes, comments and integrated chat.

supported formats:

To view and edit: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, DOCXF, OFORM.

For viewing only: ODT, ODS, ODP, DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT, PDF.

For conversion to Office Open XML: ODT, ODS, ODP, DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT, CSV.

Create and assign tasks: organize and schedule individual and collaborative projects, create private or public events in the calendar, load data from other calendars, for example from Google Calendar using the "Public address in iCal format" link for public data or the link "Secret address in iCal format" for private data (the latter not to be shared with others) available from the Google Calendar settings menu.

For new users, Social Scrooge limits the number of direct conversations per day to three. After seven day, all users will be able to start up to 20 new conversations per day. This limit can be eliminated (account premium).

Important: the inclusion of personalized web pages in your Social Spaces by installing the "Custum pages" application which enables the corresponding item in the Social space settings menu, allows you to add personalized and/or external web pages to your social space via iframe or create your own web pages via template or via MarkDown. For this specific function it is absolutely forbidden to leave the scroll bars visible in the iframe or on the web page in your social space. The scroller function can remain enabled or disabled at the author's discretion, scroll bars must be set to not visible.

On Web3 Schools, by clicking on this link, you can find instructions on how to make the scroll bars not visible, find the code that can affect a wrapped section or body section of your site. This code can be inserted between the site headers via style or in a css file to be added to your web page.

Again for the same function, Social Scrooge asks the user to be scrupulous as for the visibility of the bars also for the display of the content, in the sense that the author must always ensure the correct display of the inserted web page to avoid error messages . The due diligence requested here by Social Scrooge in the use of social spaces is necessary to preserve the quality of public conversation, reason therefore, Team Social Scrooge, once one of the above problems has been reported to the author, will feel free to intervene to eliminate the page from the Social space.

Social Scrooge plans to add new features to the scrooge.social social network, in the future, as it is an ever-evolving protocol.
